Hunters Post, Welsh Newton, Herefordshire

This three bedroomed dwelling was completed November 2013. The new build dwelling was designed on top of an escarpment overlooking the lower Monnow valley and has been designed in a contemporary manner to take full advantage of the panoramic views. The south elevation is predominantly glazed with the living areas stepping out onto cantilevered balconies overlooking the valley. A low profile standing seam metal roof was used which incorporated solar panels. A geothermal heating system, heat exchanger and underfloor heating all contribute to this sustainable design.
